Front Desk Staff 

• As a front office associate, you will be responsible for timely check-in and check-out and will greet patients with a warm smile and pleasant voice and performs a variety of clerical functions for the medical office.

• Required Knowledge and Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Required Skills and Abilities - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; eClinicalWorks knowledge preferred but not required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be 18+ years old, have work authorization in USA, qualified background check, and other specifications to be discussed at job interview.

Certified Medical Assistants ​

• As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be directly involved in the care of patients by rooming and doing vitals, performing/assisting with tests, including (but not limited to) taking blood pressure, pulse and oxygen statistics, hight and weight, and other patient vitals and history. You will be assisting in examining and treating patients under the direction of the Physician, ARNP, or PA by collecting vitals and medical histories, performing EKGs, giving injections, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to provide the best patient care. You may need to make calls to collect old records, enter records into Florida Shots, enter records into online record system, fax referrals, make follow up calls, and more. 

• Clean up rooms after patients and prepare room for next patient. 

• Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration

  • CPR/BLS certification

  • Ability to type at a minimum 40 WPM

  • All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be 18+ years old, have work authorization in USA, qualified background check, and other specifications to be discussed at job interview.

Physician Assistant/APRN Nurse Practitioner ​

• Advanced providers focus on providing assessment to pediatric patients. Physician Assistants/APRN's work under the supervision of a licensed physician in the office. You will be responsible for ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. You will diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions seen in pediatric outpatient office settings. You will also prescribe medications and other treatments as well as manage our patients' overall well-being (comprehensive care).

• You are expected to consult with the supervising physician (Dr. Patel or any other hired pediatrician) on any complicated diagnoses and make treatment decisions collectively.

• Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Florida APRN or PA License & Board Certification

  • More than 5 years of work experience, preferably over 10 years of experience. 

  • Good references of past employers.

• Education and/or Experience

  • Current LPN or RN License

  • CPR/BLS certification

  • 5+ years experience with good job references. 

  • Pediatric experience of at least 2 years required.
